压电促动器与电子器件

压电促动器,从广义上讲,是一个涵盖广泛的概念。潜在而言,所有使用了压电效应之一的设备都可以被看做压电促动器。为了更直观的呈现,下面是根据效果和用途来做的分类。

直接压电效应是由Pierre和Jacques Curie在1880年发现的:在某些晶体如石英或罗谢尔盐上施加机械压力能产生电荷。这种效应被用于开发振动能量收集的动力或电动发电机传感器。CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES的标准压电促动器如APA®可用于这样的应用中,因为直接压电效应在所有的压电促动器中都自然存在。CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES也可以开发定制压电传感器发电机,在其他相关章节介绍有进一步介绍。

逆压电效应,是用来实现压电促动器功能的关键效应,体现在压电材料在施加电场下的变形。

60年代以来,促动器最常用的材料一直是PZT(锆钛酸铅)陶瓷。压电陶瓷体极化,覆盖外部电极,以产生电激发场。它们在600千伏/米的环境下产生300ppm的变形。此电场需要高电压,共振情况除外,因为Q因子能在较低的电压下产生一个完整的变形。用这种方法研发的“共振促动器”的雏形为保罗·朗之万在1917年开发的声纳换能器发射器。它仍然被应用于CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES 的多种振动,声音和超声波发生器以及检测系统

多层压电陶瓷(MLA)在90年代就已经被开发了,以减少共振情况以外的所需电压。一个50至100微米的PZT层置于电极之间,在小于200V的电压下最大电场达2MV/ m,能产生约1000ppm的主动变形。在狭义上,压电促动器包含利用电致变形的多层压电陶瓷制成的固态可控促动器。
